Great effort has been made to create a relaxing modern environment for you at the practice. Waiting areas are furnished with comfortable chairs and the latest magazines are on display together with information about the current dental care options in the practice. Soothing music is also piped into the waiting room. Our dental team are all trained to reduce the anxiety which many patients feel when they visit the dentist. In fact, everything possible has been done to ensure the complete relaxation of the patient, at the same time creating a pleasant working environment for the dentist. In the clinical areas, our infection control is of the latest and highest standards and includes the use of electronically controlled washers, disinfectors and sterilisers.

NHS Treatment
The practice offers a full range of NHS treatments dependant upon the patient’s commitment to maintaining oral health. Patients can request services, and express a preference of dentist via the receptionist. The NHS price structure changed in April 2006 with treatment falling into three bands. The current band charges are shown on our price list page. Some treatments are not available under the NHS but your dentist will give you a fully itemised treatment plan, listing all the options available to you at the time of your check-up. Fees are due once your dental care starts. You may qualify for full or partial exemption from charges, please ask your dentist or the receptionist for advice.

Private treatment
There are some items of care which are not available within the NHS mainly cosmetic treatments, your dentist will be happy to discuss these with you.

Private Registration.
For patients who prefer to pay as they go for treatments on a private basis.

Dentalcare Plan
For patients wishing to join Dentalcare through an independent plan, the practice offers their own Dentalcare plan. Also popular with employers as an additional staff benefit.
